In addition to providing relaxing seating options, porch swings can make your home look more inviting. Before purchasing a porch swing, make sure a sturdy overhead beam exists at least eight feet from the floor and measure the area below to ensure it is wide enough to allow for movement.

If you don’t have a porch, consider adding a patio swing to your deck or outdoor patio space. Canopy swings are another option for your yard. They provide shelter from the sun so you can feel comfortable using it any time of day.
