It's moveable, so if we tire of one location we can move it to another, and when we move, it will come with us. It's heavy enough to withstand strong winds and the size is just right. I love the fire pit and how it looks built in. yet i can move it! now my daughter wants to buy it! it looks great and all i had to do wastake it out of the box, put it where i wantedi it, and put the fire bowl and spark cover on. it was so simple. the directions say not to burn manufactured logs. i was disappointed about that because those are so much easier to use and light.

We bought the firepit for our camping property to contain and have safe fires. We thought that the realistic looking brick construction would also deter anyone from stealing it.
We also use the hollow construction to store our hose,cover to the pit and the poker while we are not there.

I like the look of the fire pit and its size however,if it had a little deeper fire bowl and it a cooking grill top was added as a accessory it would put it over the top.

We use this when we have guests and on special occasions to roast hot dogs and smores. It looks like real stone, very attractive. The only problem is that it doesn't come with a plastic protective cover for rain. Ashes can become a real mess when wet. I purchased a cover last year directly from Living Accents for about $10, a little flimsy but fits perfectly.

We use this as draw for a small group to sit and chat. It is good quality for the cost, and functions well. The only thing I think should be changed is the advertisement: Ace uses the phrases "Stacked Stone Fire Pit" and "stacked stone round base", which say to me that the unit is constructed of individual stones that the buyer stacks to form the pit. However, it is actually a "Cast Stone Fire Pit" (wording in the manual that comes with it) - an all-in-one fire pit with no real, individual stones. I still would have purchased, but wouldn't have been so surprised when I picked it up (literally!).

Ez setup. Brick ring is one preformed piece. Just open box remove packing materials screw handle on to lid and that's it. No tools required. Nice looking.

I live in a townhouse and wanted a fire pit that I could leave outside. The base of this fire pit can be left outside. I'm hesitant to leave the bowl and grill outside, since it didn't come with a cover and it's easy enough to store in a closet. It may weather fine, but I don't want to take a chance. Otherwise it's a great fire pit and I am very happy with it. I am going to top it with a weatherproof service to use it in the off season as a coffee table.
