HELLO, I HAVE USED THE EDENPURE HEATER FOR THIS WINTER. I PLACED UNDERNEATH A CEILING FAN AND HAVE NOT ORDERED OIL ALL WINTER. NORMALLY MY OIL BILL LAST YEAR WAS $2000.00 BUT WITH THIS PRODUCT THE AVERAGE ELECTRIC WAS AND EXTRA @400.00 FOR THE SAME PERIOD OF TIME IF YOU HAVE A GOOD ELECTIC COMPANY THIS IS A GREAT SAVINGS

The wife was always cold, crabby and just a PITA. Since I got this heater, it's much warmer in the house and so is the wife!!!!! A happy wife makes for a happy home!!!!
Now Eden just needs to make an air conditioner!!!!!

I purchased this unit to heat a finished basement that is approximately 500 sq feet. I knew it would be a challenge, since the floors are ceramic tile and there is no other source of heat, but I was hopfeul after researching this unit that it might do the trick. Unfortunately, even after several hours, the basement is still very cold. I have to use 2 other space heaters to get the temperature above 60 degrees. While not ideal, using 3 space heaters gets the area warm enough for me to work in the basement. On the positive side, this heater is quiet and seems to be well made. I haven't received my electric bill yet, so I don't know how efficient it is.

Our EP is in our kitchen/sunroom. very airey room & also attached to our hse entry/exit to garage. EP does the job, you don't need to sit right in frt of heater it warms the room.I don't leave on if i have an erand, but hv 4gotten to turn off &all is well. Plug directly into wall,no extension cords.I tried cheaper heaters but bottom line long term yearly usage u will burn your dollars w/electric bills.
when u think it's chilly(my therm off)step out & return you'll feel it working.Seniors, dorms,bedrm.family rm.try it!

I have bad circulation in my hands & feet. I used to suffer through the winter. But this wonderful heater has made life through the cold months...comfortable! It was well worth the cost. My son & husband love it too! I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a energy efficient heater!

While working in TN, I knew my cold natured girls (wife, daughter) in MD would enjoy the convenience of this product over building wood fires all the time to suppliment the central heating while watching TV at night. Boy, was I right! They LOVE it! Call it Mr. Heater, in fact. Now that our daughter has a place of her own, we couldn't think of a better gift for her than this product!

I used it bedroom,livingroom.It has a thermostate ,which means it will stop blowing,when it gets to the desired temp.you'll think it quit, but it didnt.and when you turn it off, it will blow it self cool, before it goes off.I was spending $1500.00 a year before, now I spend $700.00, 4yrs. later ,I havent found not one thing dont like about it.

We loved this heater, at first. It heats very well, when it's working. We used this heater for several months and then it just quit putting out heat, because of the 5 year guarantee we sent it in for repair, which is a bit of a chore, we did not get it back for almost 2 months It worked for about 2 months and we had to send it back again, this time it took only about 6 weeks, worked for about 2 months and was sent back again. The people on the phone are not helpful at all. I would never buy another one of these heaters.

purchased at our local Ace store. The sales lady was very helpful, to the point of calling Eden Pure to address a couple of our concerns.
we are very please with the performance so far, keeps our furnace from constantly kicking in and helps with the propane bill.

I purchased both Edenpure and Comfort Furnace units about 2 weeks ago. I've been keeping track of my electric meter each day. I think I'm saving some electric because I've had to use the main furnace (which is electric too) and it definitely was more expensive. I've switched units from the bedroom to the living area, but neither one will keep the living room warm enough. I realize its a large area and my windows need replaced, but was hoping it would keep up. Even if I get the area warm with the main furnace, it will not maintain the temperature. I think if the fan was a little more powerful, it would do a better job.

I have been using EdenPure Heaters to heat my home for the past 4-5 years. These heaters ROCK. I live in St Louis and the winters here do get cold. I have one in my back office (which has no heat vents from my main furnace as this was a room addition after the slab home was built), and the other Edenpure I keep out in my living room on the other side of the house. I have about 1500 square feet and between the 2 heaters, I am able to keep my house at a comfortable 70 degrees. And this is NOT at their maximum setting.

My budget billing on Gas prior to the Edenpure purchase was about 110 per month and my electric was around 120 per month. Since switching to the Edenpures my budget Gas payment has dropped to 45/Month and my electric went up to $136/month. so if you do the math, I iam SAVING almost $50 per month on utilities (and that is based on 3 year old averages....which would be much higher today. Lets face it, the electric and gas companies raise their prices annually.

After about 4 years, I did have to take my heater to a repair place where they said 3 of the bulbs had burnt out. I wasnt surprised, these things run alot in my house. I had all 6 bulbs replaced (do them all, its worth not having to send it back a month later because the other old bulbs burnt out) and its back to working like new.

They only complaint that I had is when I originally bought the smaller unit for my office, the thermostat went out in the first 3-4 months. The larger unit was rockin, so I simply exchanged the smaller unit for the bigger one. Smart move!

If you get one that isnt working right - exchange it - these things are shipped and sometimes dockworkers get rough. everyone that I have told who has bot one, loves these heaters. I have cats and dogs and I dont worry about it. With the thermostat I can leave home and not worry about starting a fire.

this heater was well worth the price! We've had ours for two years and have no complaints about it. It heats a room rather quickly and is very quiet and cost efficient. YOu won't go wrong with this investment.

One thing to keep in mind is that this is not the fix-all of heaters. If you have a drafty or poorly insulated home or business, then this is not the heater for you. This heater simply can not keep up with the cold comming into the house!!! HOWEVER... if your home does have insulation and the windows are good, then you will be very happy with this heater. I have a 60 year old home and I have upgraded the windows and insulation in the attic. I have this heater in the basement and it's the most confortable room in the house while maintaining 68 degrees upstairs. Clean the filter in the back (very easy) and you will be very happy. Well worth the money you spend.

We had a pipe burst in our home and it flooded our central unit and needless to say it had to be completely removed and a new one installed. Along with a ton of other stuff, floors, and ceiling in the basement. We had this ONE unit we used in our basement when the weather got to the freezing point outside to give that extra boost to keep the downstairs basement warm for the kids to play in the wreck room so we brought this upstairs after our flood and it was the only thing heating our 2000sq' home. It was 17 outside for the lows and the highs only in the upper 20's or low 30's and it kept my entire house upstairs 50 degrees plus. Yes it runs non stop that is how it works... it uses very little energy and we only see about a 15$ a month add to the electric when it gets cold which is far less than if my central unit runs non stop. You have to use it correctly by heating the house to the level you want it with your other heat sorce and then you cut that heat sorce way down and this little box will do the rest for a ton less. Yes in the rooms that are on the other side of the house around a corner and down the hall from the heater tend to be cooler but that is the way I like it.. We now have our central unit back and this unit is back in the basement running keeping that entire 1800' so comfortable that you do not need socks! I do plan to purchase another to run upstairs on the really cold nights to help keep that DRY heat of the central unit from running non stop. Worth it and I do have small children and I do not worry about them burning themself or anything around them catching fire. Love this unit use it right and you too can see the difference it will make.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! Up front, you are to have the room cooler than you would normally have it. Turn on your regular source of heat and run the EdenPURE at the same time until the room is the temperature you want. Once there, turn down your regular heater 5 - 10 degrees and the EdenPURE will keep the room with 2 degrees of the temperature you want. It's only been down into the low 20's so far this year, but our EdenPURE US1000 keeps our open concept living room, dining room, kitchen and loft evenly heated. Doesn't matter if it's 50 degrees or 20 degrees, this large areas stays 68 when I follow the instructions. The heat is very even and comfortable - and it doesn't lower the room humidity!

No, I don't work for them, but if they offered me a sales job, I would have absolutely no problem telling people the truth about this unit. I LOVE THIS HEATER.

I recommend the extension cord so that you have more flexibility with where you put the heater. The cord that comes with it is a reasonable length, but the instructions provide suggestions as to locations (e.g., away from doors; as close to center of room as you are comfortable with). Ours is actually about 2 feet from an outside wall and works very well there. You MUST have a grounded outlet and you are instructed to not run any other major appliance on the same circuit. Did I say that I LOVE THIS HEATER??

It works very well and cut our heating costs substanitally. When the room is very cold, I turn on the central system to bring it up to temp, then let Edennpure save me money keeping it warm. The only probam I had was when I forgot to clean the filter.

I saw commercials advertising this unit and similar units. My uncle bought one and he claimed that it was a good unit to have. I was looking for something to supplement my propane heaters because it was getting expensive to refill my 100 gallon tank every month. After calling several department and hardware stores Ace was the only place in my area that even had it on the shelf, everywhere else you had to order it online.
Well I got it home and it was ready to work straight out of the box, just plugged it in and you hit the power button and boom warm air instantly. Now the advertisement said that it heats up to 1000 square feet and I had it in my living room which combined with my dining room and kitchen together it is a little over 400 square feet. After 5 hours of constant running this Eden Pure unit did not even begin to warm up my living area. Matter of fact I sleep on the couch just to see how well it would work and I had to sleep using my girlfriends pink Snuggie and I was still cold, it felt like I was sleeping on the porch which was about 26 degrees. I even gave this piece of useless trash another chance and left it on during the day while I went to work thinking maybe just maybe it needed more time to heat up the living area, if that were the case I would maybe keep it. When I came home 12 hours later my living room feels as if I left the front door open.
Well I packed the unit back up and I got my receipt and I am about to take it back as soon as I am finished typing this review. I am going to purchase a kerosene heater which is what I should have done in the beginning.
For those of you who gave this a good review I would love to know what conditions you are operating this unit in because I simply do not understand how this pieace of high dollar junk can get anything above one star.
We can send a robot to Mars and start a car with a phone but we cannot make a heater that can heat a room? PATHETIC!!!!!!

The Eden Pure is a great heater , but you must remember to keep the filter clean .It's very easy to take out , and you can wash or vacuum it . I liked mine so much I bought a second one for upstairs .

This is my third winter using Eden Pure. I bought it to heat my office which is the coldest room in my house. It heats my office, the connecting familly room and bathroom. It's very quiet. The heater does not get hot. It would be safe if you had pets or children in the room.

After working, I use it to heat the living room and kitchen.
I'm buying another one to heat my bedroom, so I don't have to keep moving this one around. It rolls easily from one room to another, but with 2 I can keep the entire house warm, and not use my main electric heat.

Using this heater has reduced my electric bills, it paid for itself the first winter I had it. It has kept me much warmer than my electric heater does.

I would recommend this for anyone who wants to be warm and save on their electric bills.

I liked this when i first bought it but the weather conditions on the outside was about 40 degrees all day and when it started to get towards the freezing point it just magically quit heating like it use to. We was able to run our house without the heating unit before this but now if we do that it stays about 50-60 in the house and that is not good for little ones. Would not buy if you have harsh weather.

We purchased our EdenPURE about 2 weeks ago and we love how efficient it is. We have a small home with an open concept between our living room, kitchen and sun room. It is very comfortable in all three rooms and we don't have it turned on high yet. It is quiet and very clean. I don't have to worry about the grandchildren touching it because the unit itself does not get hot. We would certainly buy another.
