Any semi-serious cook knows the value of Henckels knives. I bought this based on price because I needed a decent knife for everyday use. Granted, this is not one of the really expensive ones but it seems to be well made, nicely balanced and cuts quite nicely too. I'd give this a full five stars but I haven't got to use it very long and need to see how well it holds its edge.
