This is my first gas grill after many years of using a small charcoal one. I love the convenience of gas. The EP-330 is solidly built, not overly difficult to assemble, and comes with stainless steel cooking grates and flavorizer bars that should last many years. I've only used the grill about a dozen times, but it's worked beautifully for both direct and indirect heating. It heats very evenly, and has had no problem getting to 600 degrees even in 25 degree weather.

I love the sear station, I am able to cook perfect steaks. I highly recommend getting a grill with this feature. This is a very well built grill, worth the extra money as it should last for many years. It took a couple of hours to put together by myself but it wasn't particularily difficult and the directions take you through step by step. Take the time to figure out the color coding of the bolts/screws first and you shouldn't have a problem. Had to call customer service as one part was damaged in shipping, they had a replacement to me within 3 days. Can't ask for better service.

Most grilling can be done with indirect heat on med/low.
Keep the lid closed while cooking. Very easy to keep clean.
The drip pan is great and also easy to clean.

This grill is of the highest quality. I previously had a Weber grill for over 15 years. Then I bought a foriegn manufactured grill because it had lots of burners and a sear burner. I had many burner valve problems with it initially. It cooked unevenly within three years. It cost me more than the Weber.
In this American manufactured Weber, you can just feel the quality when you open the lid or turn a valve. The roller assembly under the grill make it very easy to move around on the patio. The stainless steel grill grates are easy to clean.
I am a steak guy and you can cook them to perfection using the sear burner. If you buy a Weber grill, take my advice and pay just a tiny bit more to get the sear burner and stainless steel grates. And, of course, you must have a side burner.
I have the EP-330 with the sear burner and stainless steel grill grates. The price is right at this time at Ace.
