This is a great mower but it is a brute when you want to change directions. It's is heavy and hard to manuver. I think if this mower had a large wheel on the back it would be a better mower. I do wish I hadn't purchased it.....as for the 30 day garentee, it doesn't exist even though it states there is one. I asked before i purchased and was told purchase was final.

Starts on first pull, Auto Choke helps. The variable speed self propelled function is very nice. We live on a hill, about 45 degrees, and the rear wheel drive worked fine. The only complaint which keeps me from giving it 5 stars is the mulching. Its great with the bag and leaves no grass on the lawn, but when mulching, it doesn't cut the grass fine enough.

Easy to start. The rear-wheel self-propel is powerful enough to help maneuver on a hill or sloped yard. Occasional clumps of grass left in yard - could mulch a bit better. Overall, a well-built, easy to operate mower.

Good mower and cuts great. Easy to push, especially when going straight. Larger rear wheels would have assisted with getting around trees and shrubs. A little heavy when pulling backwards. Overall, a good solid mower.

Do not purchase if you have to maneuver around trees, shrubs, etc. Designed with long wheelbase, engine weight forward, and small rear wheels makes the mower feel heavy, and it is very difficult to turn. If available with large rear wheels I could recommend - but not this model. Very disappointed with product. I have owned several self-propelled mowers and know I would not buy this item again.
