chair is too short for a 5'10"person. reclining feature is a bust. Folding feature is good. I added 5 inches to the chair(wood was easy to work with).

Use in our front and deck, looks great and I have it painted in natural wood color. Chair is comfortable for medium built size person and with the ottoman, I can put up my feet and fall asleep in it. My only recommendation is for the manufacturer to have it made waterproofed, the legs should be foldable for easy storage. The wood slates should be all the way to the bottom, and it can be designed to curve to be a footrest, and straigtened to become a foldable side table. That way you save space and save natural resources (wood).

look great with the adirondack chairs, they fit right up against them and look like a solid chair, but of course you can move them out and around, and sometimes with a large group coming over we sometimes just store them in the house for more room on the porch. We did have to do some sanding when we first got them but they some in pretty good shape! You could probably still prime and paint them as they are, we just wanted to smooth them out a little more.

Just picked up my two Merry Garden® Reclining and Folding Adirondack Chair kits from my local ACE along with my favorite choice of stain and varnish two days ago. I already have them stained and assembled. They are very well put together and look quite sharp on my patio. Can't wait to show them off at my next gathering.
