Good fan. It has a wind sheath which will hopefully work to cool the air coming through a little bit; the fan is quiet as far as box fans go, and it claims to be safe against rain and has a safety fuse in its plugin.. Only complaint is that the handle that you use to pick it up feels very cheap and will probably break eventually. Made/assembled in USA.

We use the Lasko Weathershield fans to circulate air in our chicken yards, as temperatures exceed 84 degrees regularly. We have found that no other fan performs nearly as well in this very harsh environment of moisture, dust and debris. We run them until they stop, then replace them and go again. They usually give about 2 full warm seasons before dying. We will eventually put in industrial-grade fans, but these are doing great, until then.
