My husband put the sunshades up will relative ease. He installed hooks on the house, then supports on the deck railing. We have had lots of rain since then, so we don't yet know how much of a difference they make on the deck and in the house! They have only been up a week, so we can't comment on durability.

I recently moved to a new place and have my three dogs situated in a dog run/pen during the day. One side of the area is shaded by trees but 80% of the area is open to the sun. Although I have a lean-to area for them to escape to they needed more shaded area and this cloth has worked perfectly. I'd priced shade cloth from various stores and this was the best price for the best value. I plan to buy another as this summer bodes to be a hot one.

I used this to shade the sunnyside of a leanto over my deck, the tarp on the leanto rotted in one FL summer but this shade cloth is still going strong.
