Comments about Ortho® 18 oz Home Defense Max Bed Bug Killer (0198210):
Have a couch that has had some number of bed bugs. I sterilized the mattress (it is a hide a bed) and cushions by heat. Then I sprayed the entire couch (inside and out) with almost a whole can of this stuff. So I put the cushions back on the couch after the spray had dried, and was going to sit down on it. Then I see a bug run up between the cushions. I immediately grabbed the can of Ortho and sprayed directly on the bug. It looked like it might have killed him, but after a few minutes it moved! I sprayed it again, and then it didn't move for a very long time. The next morning, however, it had disappeared. I think the spray only stunned it. I have to take a different approach to sterilize this couch, apparently.
