The hose has been in moderate use for two years. An area of the hose bulged and then split. The split is about three inches long and along one of the hexagon angles. It isn't kink-free, but nor was kinking a great problem. Going to try to return under the lifetime warranty which is probably for a replacement of same hose. I guess that is acceptable if the replacement lasts a couple of years again.

Purchased due to the label stating "heavy duty, kink free, lifetime warranty"
The hose is very soft and kinks very easily.
after a few hot days the hose started to bulge and finally burst. I wish I did not buy 3 of them.

Those leak reviews, I believe they didn't have a washer istalled. For the kinks, let the hose warm up a little, to remove its memoey from it's packaging before using.

Wish I had read the other reviews before buying two of these hoses. This product doesn't deserve any stars! I have a large yard and garden and rely on my watering products to work well. One kinked on first use and leaked at the connections so I returned it (clerk was very hostile). The other is used merely to give me an extra 50' to another hose for the front of the yard and is never moved or pulled. I noticed last night that it is bulging in several places even though it is rarely pressurized. Very unsatisfactory product and I appreciate the opportunity to let other consumers know, "SAVE YOUR MONEY!!"

I bought this hose because it said Kink Free. On first use, the hose kinked several times. Every time I used it it kinked. I don't understand how Ace can market this as a kink free hose. I returned it for a refund, as other reviews show that all the hoses are this way.

Was very happy with the feel of the hose. Has a little different hose design than I'm used to that keeps the hose from kinking. Unfortunately the hose I got has a leak in the connector and sprays all over me as soon as the water is turned on. I will need to return for a replacement.
