Our master bath and closet are over the garage, and never heat up as they should. We bought our first of these units about two years ago and we loved it. Mostly because of the auto-on feature. (We now have one in the closet and one in the bathroom.) Don't be fooled by heaters that say they have a "programable timer", because most of them usually only have a timer you can set to turn the unit OFF at a certain time. This unit has a simple, easy-to-set programable ON timer which turns the heater on for 30 minutes, so you wake up to a toasty room. The only down side is that you have to set the auto-on every night, which I'm sure is so it doesn't come on if you out of town. But it is a very function, easy to operate unit.

Our bathroom is very small.. but this still is an ineffective product.. I'm disappointed... unless it's going to blow directly on you.. within a foot don't waste your money.

Great little supplemental heater. Our bathroom sits over our garage and the floor gets cold in the winter. Setting the time and thermostat to heat it us in the morning works fabulous.

i love this little heater...the greatest feature is the clock timer and its ease of use. just set the temp and time you want it to begin and when you get up to go to work in the morning your bathroom is toasty warm! it saves money in that you dont have to warm-up the entire house. It used to be made by sunbeam but this is the same heater. After 3 years of use the only reason i have to replace it is because my ex-girlfriend took it when she split!
