I bought mine to vacuum the car. It has a super-strong motor, and picks up everything. It is a little hard to open. When I took it up on the roof to clean my swamp coolers, it blew a fuse and turned off some breakers for the house. Do not use it for that. I had to get out a very long extension cord, plug it in below, and take it to the roof to clean the coolers.
I like the power, but, it has a major design flaw. It will turn over very easily. It desperately needs four flat legs sticking out from the base so that it will stand as you pull it.
The very first time that I had to use it, I picked up water that spilled in the kitchen, then it turned over. Not too swift with water in it.

Great little shop vac. We purchased primarily to pick up cat sand, which it does quite nicely. Power cord is much too short, though, so had to supplement w/ an extension. Other than that, great little unit.
