As the 5 star rating states: Perfect! Doesn't get any better. Always a charcoal griller and went through grill after grill as I grill year round, first path my husband shovels after a snow storm is to the grill. I won a gas grill this summer and was temporarily in awe of pushing a button and having fire! WENT BACK to charcoal with the Kamado Joe and IT IS THE BEST, THE BEST GRILL EVER! Use the new gas grill to store my charcoal!!!!

THIS GRILL IS ABSOULUTELY AMAZING, I HAD THE BIG STEEL KEG, AND SOLD IT TO GET THIS ONE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. A NEW FEATURE TO THIS GRILL, THAT THE OLDER MODELS DON'T HAVE, IS A STAINLESS ASH CATCH PAN. YOU SIMPLY PULL A BOX OUT OF THE BOTTOM AND DUMP THE ASHES. THIS GRILL ALSO CARRIES A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE CERAMICS, THE BOOK SAYS 20 YEARS. I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID LIFETIME . ALL THIS FOR 799.00 IS UNHEARD OF. THIS GRILL WILL PUT THE BIG GREEN OUT OF BUSINESS. THANKS KAMADO JOE FOR INNOVATION AND QUALITY AT A GREAT PRICE.!!!

Picked up the Kamado Joe about 3 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. You can't beat the price, especially since everything you need to use it is included except a bag of lump charcoal. It lights up easily with some fire starters. Regulating temp is also easy and it's amazing how reactive the KJ is to small changes. I love having control over the temp like that.
I honestly can't say enough on how great this grill is. If you enjoy cooking outside and want to be able to cook literally anything, take this home. Compared to other ceramic cookers, it's made with superior materials, has a great warranty, has the best price, and just flat out looks better than all the others. You won't be disappointed.
