Comments about ACE HARDWARE Ace® 35 Year Siliconized Acrylic Caulk:
I've used many caulks in my 25 years of installing windows. I've always enjoyed the Ace brand of window + door caulk, UNTIL TODAY! It is now watery and thin like the D.A.P. caulkthat was more expensive. The ingredient label indicates that instead of using ethylene glycol, they now use propolene glycol, which seems to reallyperform poorly. And lets face it, How can anyonewith a straight face say that new formulation will actually last 40 yearsnow instead of 35. Insane!! Any comments/
