purchased 2 of these... 1 for each side of the house to water my plants. want my plants to thrive with rain water and not always have to drag out the house. they were easy to assemble (second one was easier than the first)within the first 2 rains both barrels were completely full. the diverter works great they do not overflow. they are huge and holds lots of water. I love them........ wish I had done this sooner. These barrels are the largest I could find. like the fact they have a drain at the bottom, many do not.

Assembly was easy, just read and follow the instructions. I used warm soapy water which made installation of rubber components much easier. Leveled and placed barrel on four concrete pavers and pea gravel. Barrel looks nice and I like being able to access from top, barrel color goes well with house. Waiting on first rain fall to check for leaks.
Barrel was shipped to local store which saved a few dollars.

Great product. Easy to asseble. Didn.t have to use a downspout because the water just ran into the barrel from the opening in the gutter. The barrel filled up more than halfway just from the 7 inches of snow we had from the last storm.

I picked up the rain barrel at my local ACE Hdwr.today, (with no delivery charges), and am installing it tomorrow. The total package, including diverter and other items are included at one reasonable price. Hopefully this will cut our municipal water bill significantly over last summer.

This easy to set up and use rain barrel is perfect in our drought ridden landscape. We set it up, luckily had a 2" rain and found the 65 gallon barrel full. Easy to fill a watering can or container from the spout lower on the barrel or to take off the top and dip the containers in. It's lightweight and the 'earthtone' color blends well. It IS large so you probably don't want it by the front door. I am more than pleased and am considering purchasing a second one next year.
In the past we used a homemade 'rain' barrel with a screen as a cover. This is MUCH better.
I had it shipped to our local store for free. Very Pleased with this product.

The set up was a breeze as it only took me about 15 minutes total to set everything up. I use it to store rain water for our plants on dry days.
Simple to install and the kit came with everything you need except a drill. The deverter works great and when barrel is full the water bypasses and the water continues down the downspout from the gutter. Awesome product
