I found out that bursted hoses to the washing machine or the automatic dishwasher account for 33% of all non-disaster homeowners insurance claims. Not only was my hot water side bulging and ready to fail, but the water valve broke when I tried to turn it off, but the main valve broke when I went to turn it off. Not my day! I would recommend this product to all, but sometimes the simplest of tasks can turn into a nightmare. These hoses came steel braided and color coded. A great product!

Within two weeks the hot water hose had form over a dozen bubbles that were about to spring a leak. I would have to say this hose is not rated for hot water use.
