I don't go out into the garden without these pruners. I've had the same pair for two years now (I garden professionally- that's a long time for me!) I find they fit my hand well, they take sharpening very well and they are durable. The red handles make them easy to find when you set them down. I have had a few problems with them in the past, but I use them very hard, and not always correctly (cutting too large a branch).
