Comments about ACE HARDWARE Ace® Submersible Sump Pump:
I bought this pump in 2009 and used it for about 3 years here in Phoenix az. It worked well the few times it was needed. Then just like the previous comment it failed for the same reasons. It also corroded the housing and all the cooling oil leaked out. I would not recommend this pump again to anyone.
Comments about ACE HARDWARE Ace® Submersible Sump Pump:
the long screws that clamp the motor housing to the volute rusted and disintegrated so the pump now mostly just recirculates water instead of actually pumping it. there are a few stainless steel screws that are still shiny and intact, but the long ones are not SS and are a poor choice for a submersible pump.
