I have owned this crusher for several years,mounting to a post under my carport. It needs bearing at pivot points,binds and is difficult to pull for children or a weaker person. the pull down hand broke in one of the pivot point on the handle.I crushed about 200 to 300 cans. I would not recommend this crusher. I am in the process of getting another brand

I found that the handle will release from the main frame with to much pressure. I placed two 5/16 press on axel caps on each end of the handle and it works great. I have recycled over 94 lbs so for and still going.

I purchased this product instead of my initial first choice "The Crusher". I selected "Easy Crush" because it's lightweight and fits into my "crushing" space" far better than the larger, heavier... "Crusher".
Upon opening the box I noticed immediately was that Easy Crush's crushing arms could easily come detached under stress. To prevent this problem, I attached a cable tie to keep the arms from flying apart under pressure.
Also, the product I got didn't come with the appropriate mounting hardware... just 5 wood screws not nearly suitable for a typical drywall installation. (You will need to buy the proper drywall anchoring hardware. Extra $, but well worth it.)
In summary... good product... but, it will only perform well with some minor investment in extra securing hardware.

I purchase this product to replace one that I had been using for over 10 years. The replacement uses smaller rods and only lasted 3 months before one of the rods broke (Crushing Aluminum Cans). Rods pop loose and you have to keep repairing it. Don't buy this product!
