I didn't know these things existed until a friend mentioned it in conversation. Even though these are listed as wall units only, I took a chance because Deb from Washington wrote a review that was EXACTLY why I was looking for this item. I liked the design (a cinch to install) and the reviews better than others I'd looked at. I have allergies out the wazu. I use cheesecloth in my vents, but I still wake up congested and frequently with headaches. The unit feels sturdy and after 8 years of complaining about air blowing on me while I sleep, I cannot wait to get in bed tonight!

Our heater vent is in a corner on the ceiling and the Deflector forces
the air towards the center of the room.

Looked all over for deflectors that we could use for our ceiling vents above our bed, even called heating and ventilation business with no luck. Then I found these little beauties on line and tried them out. I warned my husband about the reviews saying that the were "delicate" so he was simply careful installing them. They work great, we no longer have air blowing on us while we sleep.
