The first time I filled it, water leaked out from around the bottom of the handle on the side of the can, also from around were the spout is threaded on. I had to seal the can from the inside to stop leak by the handle.

This product is not up to the usual high standards of Behrens Metal Products. I have other items made by them and am disturbed that they have apparently begun to "cut corners" on quality. In particular, the screw off spout came cross threaded, and is so poorly constructed that it will barely stay on. [...]
