I am on my 5th or 6th filter.It is used as a pre filter for my refrig.it does so well my refrig filter stays clean as new for over 2 years .we have city well water that really has hard water ,minerals,scale.this ts-500 has preformed so well for over the years.Our scale build-up has been reduced to show only after about 4 years.we change this filter every 6 mo.A noticeable differance in clearaty in drinking water.Its not that small so a holding bracket not supplied is recommended.It comes with water line fittings and plumbers tape.All i know it makes my drinking water clear,no smells and saves tons of cleaning on my water dispensor on frig.The price has jumped but all filters have increased in price .Thanks for reading.
