If you are like me you'll love this machine. You do not need all the attachments on yor first visit; however do consider them as you go through your enclosed receipe book. They all fit and work well with Artisan or the Professional. I highly recommend this one over the Classic because of the plastic inturnal construction. Artisan will is very heavy and very quiet. It will replace coffee grinders, juicers and electic can opens as well as food processers. It will replace many machines in your kitchen too. I'm not employed or affilated with KitchenAid only a loyal 3rd gen. customer & so was my grandma.
