Mine is actually the black one. Assuming they are the same. Price was within budget. never had any problems with the handle being hot. Window is usually fogged up anof if no use. Other than that its a neat little machine

Owned a Rival Deep Fryer before this. I wished I had not thrown it out. The Cool Daddy I have cooks at 40 degrees higher than what it is marked, which caused a hugh boil over the first time I cooked fries. Thankfully no one was hurt. Used a thermometer to get the tempature corrected. Also, even with having made tempature correction, the handle ends up too hot to handle without a potholder. Beware of the steam that comes out by top of handle. I have now used it 6 times and decided that I am bying a different fryer and throwing this one away.

The thing I like the best about this product is its cleanability! Someone was really thinking about fryers and ways to keep them clean. And this product is so much cheaper than expensive fryers that must be a pain in the butt to clean! I love mine! Way to go Cool Daddy!
