I've had a ladder like this for many years. I mainly use it to paint. It's light, it's portable and it's comfortable to stand on. I wore my first one out after many, many years of use it finally broke. But I use it almost daily. Best ladder you will ever own.

This is probably the best platform or utility ladder that you can own. It is strong, comfortable to stand on, and so light that it is a pleasure to move. The tool platform is so handy and this ladder is the perfect height for working or painting on 8' walls and ceilings. Though rated at 200 lbs, my 300 lb friend has been on it with no trouble. All 8 of my ladders are Werner and I wouldn't own anything else. If I had to name one complaint it would be that you can pinch a finger folding it up. But hey, watch what you are doing around any tool or ladder.
