Comments about Master Mark Master Gardener® Contractor Landscape Edging:

Good edge to separate lawn from flower beds.
Online ordering was not well coordinated with the store. The initial delivery took 8 days and the store called when received. Unfortunately, they put the item on the shelf and it was sold to another customer before I got to the store 45 minutes later. Two more trips before I was able to pick up the item.

So far it is working well, and I see no reason that I will ever have problem with it. I will be ordering more, this is very convenient.

I wish I knew before purchase that the product has small holes through which plastic nails are put to retain the coiled shape.

Comments about Master Mark Master Gardener® Contractor Landscape Edging:

I purchased the deep edge version of this product, which is 6 inches deep, about 8 years ago and installed it edging a walkway around my veggie garden. I happen to have an extra roll, which sat outside all that time. Not only did the edging keep the grass from growing over into the walkway, but the extra roll was still as good as the day I bought it.

I ended up finally using that 8 year old roll to create a tree ring in the front yard. It looks great. I used the edging to butt up against the grass and on the inside used shaped large river rock carefully chosen to keep the edging in place. The river rock also acts as the base to a short rock retaining wall.

The only drawback is the installation, because you have to dig, dig, dig really deep to install this monster. But, once you do, you also know its going to work. So, if you are going to do it, do it right the first time, and you will be pleased with the lasting results.

I'm confused. If the edging is designed to keep grass, etc from spreading from one area to another, why does the edging come with holes in it?

MOST LANDSCAPE EDGING IS 4" HIGH. THIS PRODUCT IS 6" HIGH. I USED IT AROUND A TREE WITH A DESCENDING GRADE, AND IT MADE A GREAT BORDER TO RETAIN MULCH AND CREATE A NICE LEVEL EFFECT
