I love cast iron- most of my cookware is such, and one of my favorite products is the Lodge cast iron dutch oven. It is very durable, and it's one of the most evenly-cooking pots I own. I love the substantial weight of the pot- no worries that it will spill. And the size is great for large pots of chili, or smaller endeavors. I highly recommend adding this to your kitchen arsenal!
