I bought this in early 2009, three years ago, to help me heat my bedroom when I setback the thermostat at night to save on natural gas. I used the program to shut it off after six hours and it saved my wallet a lot of money! I've used it for the last couple of years in my home office space, which is open, and not closed off from the rest of the house. I used it under my desk to keep from turning up the main thermostat. Today, it finally gave out--I never had expectations that a [$] heater would last me my whole life. Quality just is a low expectation with anything we get from overseas. Unlike the other reviewers, this product worked well for me for a long time. I don't have an Ace Hardware nearby anymore so I'm reluctant to purchase this again after reading the other reviews. I think I'll try the [@] though.

I've had a few differant types of heaters and by far I like this one the BEST. Set it and forget it, as they say.My house is open concept in Florida and works great on the counter.Would buy another.

I think this product works well for small spaces just to add warmth to an area in which you are working. I don't think it's made to warm entire rooms however small, except maybe a bathroom which I haven't used it for. I like it because it oscillates and has non-oscillating option. Mine worked great until I got flooded, then digital settings got messed up rightly so.

I have had my unit replaced for the third and final time now. My initial unit failed after the first night, My second unit took 3 weeks to fail and my final unit took a little over a month. Units were only used at night for about 8 hours at a time. Took considerable time to create a noticeable difference in the medium sized room. There must be better alternatives out there.
