I used this on a Gaffers & Sattler Mark 20 wall oven that is about 40 years old.
It fits the original backing plate perfectly using the green insert and placing the knob horizontal rather than vertical as it shows in the picture.
I looked all over for a replacement, and then this one popped up on my screen. To find something that was OEM it would have cost at least three times as much if I was able to find one at all. (The problem with the original knob is the numbers were painted on, and over time they wore off completely--this is why I needed a replacement--not a problem with this dial.)
It took me about five minutes to orient the dial and finish the install. Works fine. The degree part is separate so you can orient it as you wish. Everything lined up perfectly.
