Wow I bought these cuz i know old school traps work..I would consider this the same as the old school but upgraded with a catch device that triggers the same way but easier to set.I have two old school traps and they have not worked the last 24 hours.Obviously these are great i have caught three mice in 17 hours or so..and maybe more since i only have two traps at the moment.Oh and the fact that i just woke up to throw away the carnage.Well these i highly recommend and stay away from glue traps as I have 4 strips know and no results...

The trap do not work as well as the classic trap and they cost more.The bait was eaten but the trap did not release itself to kill the mouse.do not waste your money

If you set it carefully you can make it so sensitive that you will have difficulty setting it down without it snapping. Slather a little bit of peanut butter down near the base so he stretches his neck in there really far. SNAP! I've used this trap 3 times and it has never failed to catch the mouse the first time I set it.

I have never set a mousetrap myself in my life. So when I was inundated with mice this fall, I bought this trap because of the bait tray and the fact that you could work the bait into the holes and make it harder to steal. I finally figured out how to set the trap to sensitive so that it trips easily. I smeared some peanut butter onto the bait tray, making sure to work it into the holes and set the traps (4 of them). I caught 3 mice that night and one the next day. I don'tknow why the other reviewers couldn't figure out how to work them unless they didn't read the instructions. When I went back to buy more, THIS was the only trap that was completely sold out, so apparently a lot of people like them.

These traps are the only ones I buy. We live by woods and get an influx of deer mice every fall. They will chew through almost anything to get into the house. I spread some peanut butter on the trip pedal and push it into the holes so the suckers have to dig in to dine. With the trip lever set on the sensitive side I would say these traps kill the critters better than the other snap traps, glue traps, and live traps that I've used.

Difficult to set. Have a sore thumb to prove it. Works okay, but I think the poor devil it caught last time was squirming for a while before it died. Would not buy this model again.

We get the occasional mouse and these are by far the best traps. Have tried several other types/brands, but always come back to these. They are reliable and you don't have to keep fresh bait on them. Definitely would recommend.

Works everytime as opposed to standard traps. Reallly like the feature that allows you to set the sensitivity. Always bait mine with a little peanut butter and set to sensitive and it never fails to go off.

I have fed more mice without triggering the trap, than I thought I had. On the good side, when you fatten them up to about two pounds, then they will trigger the trap. Don't buy this attractive trap, go for the traps your grandfather used.
