Set traps, mice took bait, trap still set with no mouse in it. Tried this over and over, only caught one bigger mouse after about 12 tries. Little mice easily take the bait...Read complete review
Set traps, mice took bait, trap still set with no mouse in it. Tried this over and over, only caught one bigger mouse after about 12 tries. Little mice easily take the bait and escape without setting off the trap. Will go back to using my others ones that actually catch the mice.

this is the worst design ever. This thing wont set at all and the "rod" that is supposed to be the trigger is a 1/4" to short on both of the traps in the 2 pack bought. I honestly would have better luck swatting them with a fly swatter.

I set four of these around the house & caught nothing. Set old-fashioned wood trap a foot away from one and IT caught a mouse.

woodstream shoud have more pride in there product works great when parts are in right and pieces are the right shape. also the upper stop for the triger needs to be thicker and stronger, breaks easy

I've used the Quick Set to catch/kill 20 mice in my garage. Yes the tricks are where to put the bait...on the top and back of the lever or the trap lid itself...and to adjust the lever to create a hair trigger...push the lever down to just before the point of release. Before I did that, the trap was a feeding station. Now it's a big game hunter. That adjustment is something Victor should work on. I've used one trap over and over.

The mice are easily able to clean these traps without getting caught. After two weeks of fattening the mice up on peanut butter by using the victor traps, I purchased .50 cent traps and caught one the first night. Save your money and buy the wooden old fashioned type of trap.

Tried for weeks to catch a small mouse in the kitchen. Live-catch traps were not sensitive enough. The Quick Set trap forced the mouse to put his whole weight on the trigger to get to the bait (peanut butter). The Bait was applied to the top underside of the trap to force the mouse to climb on the trigger to get to the bait. Caught in the first few hours of setting. Highest Recommendation for indoor use.

These are the best traps we've found. We caught 3 in one night (that's how bad our mouse problems is). They're easy to set and easy to, um, "unload." The only trouble is that the metal trips inside are kind of delicate and break easily. I suppose they'd be easy to fix, but I'd rather just replace them.

At first I was putting bait at the end of the tip, then I saw a little mouse raise up on his back feet and get the bait without touching the trap, so I started putting peanut butter on the back of the little platform and smushing it into the little holes, that way the little critter has to lean over and get it, and trips the trap mechanism.
