First off, it's false advertising. The package says it wraps around the AC and attaches with velcro. Guess what, no velcro. Instead it uses some flimsy buckles that aren't even wrapped properly. It has no bottom, so whether you've got holes in the AC bottom or if you don't use tape on the seams, you're going to have air infiltration.
If you want to protect the top of your AC from bird poop this might do the job... but only until there's a strong wind at which point it will blow off and down the street.

A sheet of heavy plastic will do as well as this product. There is no bottom panel to the cover. The elastic cord that is attached does not hold the cover on for long. The cover blew off and we re- applied it using duct tape to stick the side and back flaps to the bottom of the air conditioner. Then we added our own bungie cords around the whole unit to keep the cover secure. Comparing notes with friends, we found they have had the same trouble with this product. It looks good on the advertising, but get out the duct tape if you buy it.
