If you have an older home that has settled and things arn't quit square anymore or gaps run from narrow at one end to wide at the other this stuff works great. will seal a 1/4" gap. area needs to be clean and free of dirt to stick. tuff enough to tack or staple if needed I have never had too. I have used it for many years on many diffrent homes in the southwest USA. One home 15yrs ago still in place. would recommend to everyone in Southwest USA.

I carefully cleaned the wood frame around my door but the polypropylene weatherstripping didn't even begin to stick to the wood. It was apparent that the amount of glue is not nearly strong enough for this application.
