I had really liked my EZ Step Folding stool until a recent incident has prompted me to caution its users. My husband was standing on the stool when it came apart in 3 pieces and caused him to fall and suffer serious injury. Even though his injury did require surgery and a long period of rehab, he was fortunate it wasn't more serious. We feel that this caution is needed for others using this product.

I use the footstool in my daycare so the children can wash their hands by themselves. This footstool works well in the small bathroom the children use. I can fold it on weekends so it takes up less space, and the steps are taller, so they can reach the faucet.

I'm short - cabinets etc often just out of reach. This is dandy. Easy to open, sturdy, stands up by itself to store - a happy surprise I didn't expect. Looks good, re design.
I do use the wall or some such to support myself when I get to the top step but that's probably because I'm an 'older' consumer. Its not really a 'problem' and I knew the configuration when I bought it. Didn't want another hand-hold collapsible that took up space and had to be put away because it was larger

We wanted a two-step ladder that was stable and able to hold 200+ lbs. And fold up small enough to store out of sight in a kitchen cabinet or easily behind free standing furniture near the kitchen. This was the only such item we could find.

This is "the safe alternative" to the narrow 2 step folding aluminum step stools. It's cost in mid to upper $20's is worth the stability maintained when using it. It's steps are wider than aluminum step stools and are Rubbermaid skid resistant. There should be no falling off the step stool! It's overall open separation space also help make it more safe to use. Does fold easily for storage.

This stool helps me out in all different ways as I am only 5 feet tall ie: reaching up high in the cupboards, changing light bulbs in our ceiling fans, painting and hanging up pictures. It doesn't take up much room in the hallway closet when it's not being used and is very easy to keep clean.

Remarkably sturdy given its light weight (compared to metal or wood steps). I weigh 255 lbs and am well over six feet and feel comfortable/stable on this. Easy to clean because it is all plastic -- if cleaning needed can wash with the garden hose. Nor worry about metal corrosion. Would prefer softer rubber feet to protect surfaces even better, but who's complaining? A good product at a good price.

This is a wonderful stepstool. VERY sturdy unlike those small wooden ones. I never worry about falling when I use this. The rubber feet on it really hold it in place..it doesn't move at all. Seriously thinking about getting one for each of my grown children for Christmas. I even use it to clean out my lower cabinets in my kitchen..makes a great seat!
