This drill is a proven model. The current price for the kit is the best I've ever seen and gets the home user or professional into one of the workhorses of the cordless drills available. For the money you can not buy a better drill in the Ni-cad models no matter what brand you look at. Buy it now while the price is so reasonable and you will have a drill for life. Truly heavy duty power and excellent battery life.

I was so happy when Li-Ion came out. Now the "Older" Dewalt cordless drills can be had for a great price. I could care less that this is an older model. My other Dewalt is 10 years old and still cranking. So I look forward to many years with this new drill. And maybe 10 years from now I'll buy a Li-Ion drill....

I bought this drill/driver because I had a job to do and my old driver had just died on me. Honestly, I bought it because of the price, it was a little less expensive than the one I was going to get and I thought if it could just get me through a few weeks then it would be worth it. I was pleasantly surprised when it drove 1.75" lag screws into a wall stud with no predrill and without any stall. It made the job quicker and neater and that is a plus when you have other things to do besides drill holes. Battery life is long and strong. I especially like the one hand chuck. It does not slip and makes changes a snap. If you've used many cordless keyless chucks then you know how important that is. Whether you're a pro or a home handyman, you will be happy with this choice.

Great drill for the price, you won't be disappointed. I have only used this drill for a month, but am able to use it for every job needed. I've lost 3 drills already due to untrustworthy people, this is the one I will be holding on to.

good drill

This drill is great.We use it commercial use .But after drilling and putting screws in all day I start to get
blisters on top of my thumb knuckle.But other wise it is a great powerful tool but it is getting old.
