Blocking access to stairway so new puppy can't sneak upstairs. She is a Lab, that will eventually grow too large for this particular gate to deter her, but for now, she is slightly over three months old and this gate is perfect for her current size, and probably for the next two-three months. By that time she should be sufficiently trained to "not try" to go upstairs!

We bought this product to keep our two small dogs in the laundry room why we were at work. Now we use it to keep our huge St.Bernard in too. At night we put it in our daughters bedroom so that she can sleep with her door open. We are buying another one for our new baby. We love our product!!!!
