I love these containers. As stated earlier, the medium will hold nearly 30 pounds of dog food, which is the size I purchased. However, I would not stack more than two at a time since the plastic is a bit thinner than I'd like for it to be. Other than that, don't hesitate to buy them! You really won't be disappointed. And as of this date, ACE had the best prices too!

Nice product. Fits perfect on my pantry shelves. I have one for each dog (puppy food and dog food). Holds a whole bag of food so I don't have to leave 1/2 the bag on the floor.

I already owned one of these, which I use to store birdseed and wanted another to stack on top to store squirrel food (I know, I know - rats with a tail - but I still like them). I've had the first one for over 10 years (indoors) It has been very durable and relatively easy to clean. It isn't the most attractive - I had a very pretty can originally - but then it rusted in just a couple years.
Originally I used it for cat food but switched to bird food when the cat died. So it is good for any kind of cat, dog etc. food.
It's nice to know there are some products that are available when you need a second one 10 years later.

This is one of the best products I've purchased in a long time. My mom has had them for a long time, and it never occurred to me that I could benefit, too, and not have bags of food sitting around. I bought three: 1 for inside cat food, 1 for outside cat (not mine) food, and 1 for dog food. They stack well, and although it states only to stack two, both my mom and I have all three stacked together in a place where it's not likely to fall over. All the pet food is now in one place and easy to get to, and I think it will stay fresh a lot longer.

The Stack and Store containers also come in larger sizes but the Stack and Store 40 fits neatly under a kitchen counter. The front opening door allows easy access and use of a scoop for dog food. It would probably work equally well for cat food if you have more than 1 cat.I ordered on line [...]

The item is pretty good at storing food. However, it doesn't close tightly. My dogs can open the bin, even if it's latched - they've now destroyed two bins by tearing the doors apart. So, if you store the food away from the pet, or your dogs aren't brats the way mine are, you'll be fine. I've also used for bird seed - as long as you close it firmly, the mice can't get in.
