The 30 second entry delay allows the robber plenty of time after he gets in to give this thing a good hit and disable it. A remote control on/off would fix this. It needs to go off as soon as the door is opened or tampered with not 30 seconds later.

I purchased this alarm for my son's apartment. He is an IT Guy and has a lot of high end equipment and an expensive entertainment center. I liked the "Away" feature with the alarm. He uses the "Chime" when he is at home or expecting visitors. I am going to buy one for my condo since he has now moved out.
