I use it in my apartment and it makes me feel safe knowing that if anyone opens the door I would know and i didn't spend a lot of money to use this and I didn't have to keep trying over and over again to install it

The magnetic alarms are a good idea for some economical local security, but these cheapies were worthless. Three out of four units didn't work, and I do not trust my security to a 75% failure rate - even if the price is good.
