The same as another user, we have had our home for 9 years and several of our hinges do not work. My guess is they were cheap during the building boom and a lot of builders skimped to save a few bucks. Terrible product.

It is a shame that these hinges are still available. We have owned our home for 9 years and have 12 out of 21 of these hinges on our lower cabinets broken. Obviously we are not the only ones. I can not believe they are still available for purchase!

As previously mentioned, the hinges door mounting tabs break off too easily. I've owned several homes and have never had this problem. I would recommend looking for another manufacturer for your hinges.

In cabinets that are used frequently, the metal tabs that lock into the cup on the door frame fracture and break off. I've had this happen to several hinges, particularly below the worktop (these doors are wider than those above the worktop) -- also, the lower hinges tend to break off first. Overall, poor design, poor craftsmanship, inappropriate materials that do not hold structurally.

I have 6 of these hinges broken in 4 yrs on cabinets that get the most use. The metal tabs that lock into the door portion break it is a weak point in the design.
