I used a set of these bits to drill stone and ceramic tile, and though it took forever to drill the stone they held up better than I expected. I turned my drill speed down, used water to cool the bit, and tilted/rotated the bit around as needed to keep it cutting. I still have these bits, though I burnt one out drilling through stone at high speed, and I used them to drill through ceramic tile earlier today.
