Comments about Channel Master(r) VHF/UHF/FM/TV Fringe Antenna (3020TA):
I purchased my Channel Master 3020 Deep Fringe Advantage TV antenna from ACE Hardware a few years ago. It's mounted on a 25' pushup pole/tower. I live more than 50-miles from Indianapolis and paired with the Radio Shack Pre-Amp 30db Booster, I receive 90% of OTA broadcast stations. This outdoor antenna has been in several severe storms with winds in excess of 80-MPH and they have not hurt it any. It still looks and performs like it did the day I installed it. I wanted to mount it on a 100' rotating tower but couldn't afford to, so it sits 25' off the ground on pushup poles and works decent. Because of it's size, heavy gauge guy cables must be used at two levels (very top, and mid-way down). This is the only reason this antenna survived several intense storms. If you buy one of these, only mount it in a location which it can be heavily secured or in an open area where heavy gauge guy cabling can be used to secure from any and all movement. This is a great antenna and I swear by it as I love mine.

I was surprised to see how many more channels in HD are in my area. I live out in the boonies myself and need only the best of the best up on my roof top. Did my research; read many (maybe way to many)reviews, specs, pricing etc,of other deep fringe antennas. finally decide to buy the

mainly because I didn't want to shell out an extra $60. If you are curious enough to find all those hidden channels in your area this is extactly what you need."Best bang for you buck"

Comments about Channel Master(r) VHF/UHF/FM/TV Fringe Antenna (3020TA):
The media buzz on digital convertor boxes only need a set of rabbit ears antenna and your set. Its ok if you live in a big city like Indy! But if your deep fringe 40-80 miles from your stations rabbit ear antennas are a complete joke. You need an antenna like this Cannel Master! Forget the simple rabbit ears idea. For the money this is a must out in the Boonies! Its a steal! Oh yes the FM stereo or HD Radio shines on receiption performance with this antenna!
