When purchasing a product like this one, examine the magnet and how it's mounted. Magnets on these holders are weak, but what's worse, the glue that holds them is even weaker. So no matter how strong the magnet is, it's useless if it can't stay attached to the holder. Needless to say, the magnet came detached from the holder. Not recommended.

No bump or jerk of the car could knock the magnet off. Im getting one for a friend for Christmas since he was locked out of his car a few times. It has helped me tremendously.

I've used a magnetic key holder for years, this one fell off on first use. I knew it would but I tried it anyway. The magnet is small weak.
