Bought both AA and AAA Ultimate Lithium batteries from Energizer - my first purchase from this manufacturer, ever. I really have to tell you: these batteries are absolutely extraordinary! Extremely long shelve life (mine - made in Singapore - will expire around 2026 (!!!) - if I'm still alive - otherwise these batteries will outlive me!), absurdly light weight (in fact, these are the lightest AA and AAA batteries I've ever seen), very good-looking (love the chrome 'n' blue graphic design style) and very stable (thermally and mechanically). The only thing that makes me sad, is for the fact that not all torches/flashlights out there are 'lithium battery compatible'. Indeed, my also extraordinary Fenix LD01 flashlight, states that 'lithium batteries are not recommended' and that I should stick to alkaline or rechargeable batteries which are FAR heavier than the Ultimate Lithium (buy one of each, weight them on your hands and you'll see what I mean...) - and I really regret this, since these batteries are so much lighter and long-lasting than any alkaline/rechargeable combo out there. Perfect for EDC or critical/survival gear - if these can accept lithium batteries, that is. On the other hand, price is steep and one should think through before buying, but for survival gear you really don't want to compromise your life on it. The absolutely best batteries from Energizer, in my opinion, and the brand's best technical achievement so far. Well done, Energizer. Well done.

The best

By Frank26

from Overland Park, KS

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I love these batteries. They last so much longer in my wireless devices and electronics. Plus they look pretty cool too. They're a little pricey compared to alkaline, but you get what you pay for. I just wish Energizer made them in C and D sizes as well.

Long life in remote power remote

By Anonymous

from Coeymans, NY

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I've used this in my remote-controlled AC power strips to run outdoor Christmas lights and lawn decorations. I've used the same batteries for 3 seasons so far without having to change them. They're turned on at dusk and off when we go to bed, so they're used twice a day for about 40 days (nights). Great value and excellent performance!

This product lasts a few used

By Lizzie

from Toronto, ON

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

Hi! I am quite happy for the few uses i get out of the A23 batteries from using it on a toy's remote but i need it to last longer than few times and it gets costly replacing them all the time. Could you guys please make a rechargeable type for this so it has many uses? I am willing to pay for the charger and a couple of batteries that will last a year or more. Thank you.

Battery life short

By Josueffn

from Apple Valley, MN

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I have used these for mouse and keyboard and have had short life for multiple packs. Battery tester shows totally dead on 6 batteries from 2 4 packs. What gives. Previously I didn't need to replace batteries on mouse or keyboard for over a year.

Waste of money

By AnnoyedMom

from Rhode Island

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

My digital camera only works with these batteries, on the off chance the batteries will actually work. I bought an 8 pack figuring they would last me a while. I used my camera and took a total of 28 pictures, the next day when I went to use it again the batteries needed to be replaced. My son put some in one of his hand held games and within 4 hours they had died. I don't even want to discuss the ones that were put into the remote, well the trial batteries in one of my kid's toys outlasted these. The long lasting claim is clearly a joke, I'm currently using my phone to take all my pictures.

Lithium, but not rechargeable with price high as rechargeable

By Zyrem

This one use lithium cell, but it's not rechargeable. The package not fully describe its lack capability of recharging, also confusing you within price range of other rechargeable battery.

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I bought these for my Mircosoft wireless mobile mouse 600 mouse cause it tends to use regular batteries in about 2 months. I was hoping that with the increased price and all the jazz these would last longer... They last about 2 months in my mouse. Extremely unsatisfied with the results.

Batteries get very hot quickly!

By CButera24

from Cicero, ny

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I use 3 AAA in my mag-lite LED XL50 and they become very hot after about 5-10min of constant use. No other batteries I have used before have done this before. It is a high drain flashlight but the heat the batteries produce makes me too nervous to use them anymore.

A23 does not work - no matter who makes it!

By cinbar01

from Indiana

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I have to use these on the remote control and trainer for my dogs collars. A battery last about 1 day! This is totally unacceptable! I use the controller maybe 3 times in 24 hours and then have to replace the battery! I will have to admit that other "brands" are just as bad. Why can't anyone make an A23 that actually works?!!

Poor Quality

By Vikki

from Waskom, TX

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I purchase these batteries to run in my Trail Camera's. I need a battery that I can rely on. I placed 12 of the Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries in my trail camera, less than 2 weeks later, my camera was dead!!!! With the amount that I have spent on these batteries, they should have lasted alot LONGER!

Bought these for our new digital camera. They were recommended to us by the store we bought the camera at. We have used our new camera a total of 2 times and we went to look at our pictures on the TV and couldn't because the batteries were dead already. For the price we paid for these batteries,I am very disappointed!!

awesome battery

By Digi

from ohio

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I have a digital camera and was using basic double AA batteries that would last maybe 10 minutes if I was lucky. It was getting to where I hated the camera. I asked someone about different batteries for the camera. they recommended rechargeable. So I checked the battery stand out and seen the rechargeable ones Then I see these Energizer ultimate lithium batteries with 9x longer lasting power for digital cameras and high tech devices and bought them to try them. It's the best thing I could of done for this camera. I used it for an hour and the battery indicator still showed full. this battery is the best thing. I now like my camera again. thanks Energizer for making this battery.

Performed in -22 c

By Benexpertise

from East Sussex , UK

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

Went on holiday to Lapland in January and was advised by the local camera shop to bring at least enough for four batteries a day, as the cold depletes them at a much higher rate. I used four of these batteries over a week in temperatures ranging from -5 to -22 on the coldest day, I took over 900 pictures with ad without flash, took long exposures of the northern lights and used my Fuji films HD recording for around 15 minutes . I have used the same batteries now at two kids parties . I am still using the same four batteries as I loaded up in January this year (although they are now dying) They just work, well impressed. Top marks

Excellent product

By REatty1983

from Royal Oak, MI

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I've been using Ultimate Lithium AA batteries for my digital camera for almost a year now. I work in real estate and take plenty of pictures. But I had grown tired of the usual alkaline batteries burning out on me so quickly, since I need to use the flash quite often. So I stumbled upon Ultimate Lithium, and even though its more expensive they last SOOOO much longer. The longer lasting benefit far outweighs the added cost. I had to buy batteries every couple weeks in the past, now its every 4-5 months. Plus, they have a shelf life of 15+ years, so you'll use them eventually and not have to worry about them working. This is a wonderful product, keep it coming!

Engergizer A23 battery of no assurance

By Looi

from Kuala Lumpur

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

hi, I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Last year, I complained on A27 battery. Now, even the A23 failed. Last month, my daughter in Malaysia was caught with her bad performing car alarm remote controller. After trying 15 minutes at the outdoor open carpark, thanks God, at least it worked for once to bring her home from 20 over km away. That Energizer battery in the remote controller was only installed bought and intalled for few months. Later when I tested, found the voltage was less than 7 volts for a 12 volt battery. I then tested the voltage of a GP battery and used it. When I looked at the packing, GP packing shows the expiry date but not my other Energizer battery. Beware, when we buy battery.

AAA bought from Lowe's

By Dread101

from Kansas City,MO

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I have a sharps clock and it runs on AAA batteries. The Duracell batteries that came with the clock lasted for 5 or 6 years. Had too replace them so I bought Energizers and they lasted one day. So the answer to rating above is clear. No more Energizer batteries.

Excellent for High Altitude Balloon Launch

By WD9FMB

from Peoria, IL

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

The local Amateur Radio Club I belong to has launched 3 High Altitude Balloons over the last couple of years each exceeding 90,000 feet. We have always used the AA Ultimate Lithium Batteries as they have constant voltage, even at -60 degrees F. They power the video and still cameras, Automatic Position Packet System with GPS and 2 transmitters. Absolutely flawless performance. Our next flight is at the end of April and you can be sure we will use the Ultimate Lithium AA batteries to power the payload.

A musician has a 4 AA battery guitar effect pedal it ran out of battery  and I gave him the energizer U. lithium, two months later he said me he still had them so I asked him how much lasted a normal battery? He responded: two days of show.

2 out of 6 Wands for my Motorized Shades Died

By AndySoda

from Toronto, Canada

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I recently had to replace the battery wands for my motorized blinds which have been working without issue for 2 years, some wands are still working - but on the windows that are opened and closed the most - they needed to be replaced. The manufacturer switched from closed wands to ones that open up and you can put AA batteries in them - they sent me 6 new wands and 48 Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries - 8 for each wand - and they were expensive! I used them for a few months and then two wands died and the blinds won't go up or down, versus the old ones that worked for 2 years! I hope the other ones last. Can I recharge these batteries?

By Paige74

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I bought pack of 8 for my 3 and 6yr olds LeapPad and they have been charged a total of 2 times and 4 out of the 8 are no longer usable. This is the second set I bought I thought well maybe it was just the my imagination they lasted longer than what they seemed to but I don't think so considering these didn't last long either. Will not buy again and wouldn't recommend.

Lasted 2 weeks in a TV remote control

By Chris73

from Harrisburg, PA

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I put 4 of these AAA batteries into our Harmony remote control, thinking it might mean I wouldn't change them for a year or more, as typical AAA batteries last me about 6-9 months. 2 weeks later, the charge on the batteries is between 0.4 and 0.6 volts each. Perhaps I got a defective batch, but they were working fine when I first put them in.

Absolutely amazing!

By peaceandlove29

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

I honestly had no idea what batteries I was using in my digital camera. I make a lot of videos on trips and stuff like that ranging between 10-20 minutes long. My battery is just now starting to die and I opened it up and found out that it was these Ultimate Lithium batteries. Just perfect! I think I've had these batteries in my camera since August and they're just now dying. 6 months of not having to change my camera batteries is simply amazing. Definitely recommend!

Dont buy the A23 battery

By 1DeadRabbit

from Gilmer, Tx.

Comments about Energizer E2 AA Lithium Photo Battery:

My garage door opener remotes operate off of one A23 battery. I should have learned my lesson by now on buying the Energizer brand A23. My past experiences are these batteries are weak even if they have a good date on them. I usually have to be very close to the garage door to get them to open the door. I thought I would try it one more time so this evening I bought another 2pk of A23's. I came home and immediately installed the battery in to a remote. Guess what, It's dead. I checked to make sure I had it installed the correct way and it was correct. I checked my contacts and they also are fine. I took out the battery and put it back in a few more times and still nothing. I put in the other new battery and it works. So with buying the 2 pk, only one battery is working and I once again have spent my money on a product that I knew I should not have bought. These A23 batteries in my opinion are a total waste of money. Every other size of Energizer battery I have used have been excellent but not the A23.
