the head band broke as I was setting it to fit my head. the hood it self is ok but I wouldnt buy it just because of the hassels to fix it when it breaks.

This helmet is inexpensive and easy-to-use. The ratcheting headgear worked well on my first one, but broke in cold weather after a year. I bought a second helmet, and the headgear broke on the first day of use. Overall, quality is unexceptional. If I can find a good replacement ratcheting headgear, I will keep using the helmet.
