I wish it had a different on/off button. If you use frequently, having to roll top to turn it on is a pain in the butt. But the light and battery life are excellent-----do not buy $ store batteries----if you are strapped for cash--buy rechargables!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are soooo much cheaper in the end. I would recommend---but for personal, occasional use. that button for on/off would definately be an upgrade.

I've used Maglite products for over 20 years. The biggest benefit of the minimaglite is that you can take it everywhere. The biggest disadvantage is the low light intensity and high battery drain. You can solve this problem by purchasing an LED upgrade and installing it yourself, but it will cost you another 10-15 dollars in addition to the initial cost of the light.

When I purchased this maglite I didn't realize it had a rotating head for on/off and an adjustable beam. I thought I was buying "just another flashlight". Boy, was I wrong! Ver bright & easy to use. I bought a few colors for different parts of the house! I even did a search on [...] & read about its founder. I only wish it came with a wrist lanyard.
