Two men attempted to break into my home and the arresting officer said that the only thing that kept the thieves out of my house was the Door Guardian. Thanks to the Door Guardian the door held strong even though the dead bolt and lock had broken free. Great product!

This is a good product; however, I also bought a product called "Lock Jaw". It works with the deadbolt and keeps the thumb latch from turning. Best of all, its portable and I installed one on my French door with double-stick tape. It's the only locking device that I've ever seen for French doors. I bought the Lock Jaw while visiting a relative in California but my local Ace dealer had never heard of it...too bad.

This is a really good door latch. Short of breaking the entire door frame down, NOBODY is getting past this latch. I used it in a house I rented, and was very pleased with its quality; it was quite easy to install as well.
