There were no instructions with this fan motor. Users should make a small sketch of how the old motor is attached to the housing before installing the new motor.

Perfect replacement for a unit that had been installed 20 years ago

This was a replacement fan for a bathroom vent unit which was around 30 years old. It dropped the dB from about 65 to 55 which is a significant difference. It is not super quiet but it not super noisy like the one we replaced. I also added a time shut off at the same time which we are happy to have.
