My old wrought iron patio table and chairs had scraped and gouged my patio for years till I found these. They go in the short metal 1 1/2" ID open end down cups on each chair and table leg. The material is hard white plastic which may crack if not careful installing, but will wear longer than a soft material. They install open end to open end so there is a smooth rounded sliding surface on the patio.

These now have the Ace name on the package, but I believe they are distributed by Shepherd Hardware Products. Which was the name on the package I bought. They are made of poor quality material and much thinner than what came new with the set. My old original inserts lasted about five years. I doubt these will last five weeks. During the install with a soft wooden mallet, half of them cracked. This is junk...
